Thank You- You Saved Me.

Hello long time no see. Its been a crazy few months and I’ve had no chance to sit down and write anything for my blog, at the end of October one of my cousin died, followed an aunt one of my mother side also dying and finally a week later and uncle on my fathers side also died; the family lost three members across the space of a few months and it was just to much to think about.

This one isn’t going to be my normal list post but more a reflection of last year. At the beginning of 2017 I was not in a good place, I was depressed, I had zero motivation and rarely laughed (For real at least) and even when I did find something to laugh at or something that made me happy, it faded so soon. For example in February of 2017 my sister and I went to see Russell Howard at the Bristol Hippodrome, it was amazing and it is one of my fondest memories I will always find it funny and nothing can spoil that memory but a week after seeing the show I was back to normal.

Then in April the family got the Internet and I was able to find several people through Twitter and YouTube who helped me so much and I wanted to take the time to thank you all, I am now happy everyday, I laugh everyday and I actually feel good about what I am doing so everyone I mention in this you have saved me.

Russell Howard (And my sister). As said above in the February of 2017 my sister and I went to see Russell Howard for a show at the Bristol Hippodrome, it was an amazing show and it made me the happiest I had been in a long time. The happiness faded a week later but it gave me a light in such a dark time and it pretty much planted the seed for helping me to get where I am today.

The teams of Outside Xtra and Outside Xbox; I started by watching the Outside Xtra video “7 Guilds That Aren’t Worth the Membership Fee” the video made me laugh so much, it made me happy and it made me want more from both Outside Xtra and Outside Xbox (Despite being a PS player), I watched so many videos over the course of the first week and I actually felt regularly excited about future videos and came back to find something almost everyday. Then in July my joy soared when I saw a video “8 Taverns You Want To Have A Pint In*”, I had sent a tweet to if there was a video made on this topic back in June. When I heard nothing I thought it was just a no but when I saw they actually liked my idea enough to make a video on this topic made my year feel so much better.

The Cast and Crew of Wynonna Earp. In 2017 Wynonna Earp had reached its 2nd season so my love for them had already been established but seeing these stories and watching the show where you can feel the love and friendship between the whole cast just made me warm, happy and excited for the rest of the season. It has also introduced me to several friendly and awesome people among the Earper fandom. I found myself an acceptance and friendship more than i have done from other fandoms, believe me you don't know how much this means to me.

Finally SuzyLu from YouTube, on a bad day where I just felt so bad physically and mentally, my motivation had hit rock bottom and all I wanted to do was stay in bed and do nothing but watch YouTube. I started to watch the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard series from her page and immediately thought “I could do that” Seeing her passion and other series on her channel has given me motivation to try my own YouTube channel, I haven’t had the chance to start yet because of medical issues but I have the motivation to do it and will hopefully start soon.

Once again I want to thank you people mentioned in this blog, whether any of you will read this I do not know but I just wanted the world to know how you have pretty much save me from a dark place in my life, I want you to know I appreciate all the things you have done for me. If any regular readers have returned for this post thank you for reading and any new readers welcome to the page, soon I will be posting some more content and should be more regular than I have been recently.
